Inteligencia Artificial en la Redacción de Tesis: Explorando el Papel de los Correctores Gramaticales Avanzados (Grammarly)

Resumen

Este estudio tiene como objetivo investigar el impacto de los correctores gramaticales avanzados, específicamente Grammarly, en la redacción de tesis en entornos académicos. Empleando una metodología cualitativa, la investigación involucró entrevistas semiestructuradas con tres supervisores de tesis experimentados de dos instituciones académicas. Los hallazgos destacan que, si bien Grammarly mejora la calidad de la redacción mediante retroalimentación inmediata y personalizada, también plantea preocupaciones sobre la posible dependencia excesiva, que podría obstaculizar el desarrollo de las habilidades de redacción y la independencia académica de los estudiantes. La investigación subraya la necesidad de una integración equilibrada de las herramientas de IA en la redacción académica, abogando por su uso como ayudas complementarias en lugar de soluciones primarias. También se hace un llamado a una capacitación integral y a políticas claras para maximizar los beneficios de estas herramientas, manteniendo al mismo tiempo la integridad académica y fomentando las habilidades de pensamiento crítico entre los estudiantes.
